Role Overview

We're looking for a Brokerage Operations Analyst to join our team in Poland. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience or interest in trading operations, settlements, and reconciliations, who is looking to deepen their expertise and grow within brokerage operations. At Shares, Brokerage Operations is core to how we run a reliable, efficient trading platform for our users. You'll work closely with more senior team members and other departments to keep cash, orders, and positions running smoothly across all asset classes while helping us build more efficient, scalable processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cash and order flows across all asset classes, e.g. Mutual funds, US & EU equities, Crypto, etc.
  • Monitor & manage corporate actions.
  • Conduct transaction reporting and trade surveillance to detect irregular activity or potential market abuse.
  • Investigate issues related to client orders and ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with Shares’ partners and internal teams.
  • Continuously monitor outsourced service providers (e.g., brokers, e-money providers, support teams) to ensure compliance with SLAs and quality standards.
  • Perform data reconciliation and create SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
  • Tax reportings.
  • Feed into the technology team to help develop backend enhancements.
  • Prepare internal and regulatory reports for various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Fluency in French (for customer/business-facing tasks) and English (our working language).
  • Prior experience in brokerage operations, trading support, settlements, or reconciliations.
  • A university degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, cash flows, and multiple data sources  (intermediate G-suite & SQL).
  • A sense of ownership—you understand how critical smooth operations are to a trading platform.
  • Detail oriented, with a methodical, process-driven mindset.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

  • Degree/studies in the field of financial markets.
  • Tax reporting knowledge.
  • Ideas or experience in ops automation, or process design in financial markets brokerage operations.
